As we kick off the New Year, Minit-Tune & Brake Auto Centres celebrates another big milestone: serving BC residents and their vehicles for 40 years! We have had our fair share of challenges, with changing markets and new technology to adapt to. However, with a team of smart entrepreneurs, qualified mechanics and wonderful communities across BC and Alberta, it has been a fantastic 40 years.

Our Beginnings

Late in the 1970s, Roy Shand and Sam Amlani identified the need for auto maintenance shops that offered fast, friendly and reliable services. As self-service gas bars began to replace neighbourhood stations and more families began owning multiple cars, the time was right to open Minit-Tune & Brake Auto Centres.

Our Commitment

The business was started with the goal to keep family automobiles in BC maintained and working safely. The work completed on vehicles was to be reliable, economic and a convenient “while you wait, work or shop” service for the car owner. Providing a range of services, dependable results and minimal interruption to customers’ schedules, we have and continue to make maintaining your automobile as easy and convenient as possible. We use only name-brand parts, fixed prices and a 15,000 km or twelve month guarantee, so you can count on Minit-Tune & Brake Auto Centres for auto repair in Vancouver as well as other cities in BC and Alberta.

Our Services

Our skilled technicians offer a variety of services, making Minit-Tune & Brake Auto Centres your one-stop automotive repair destination.
